The interdisciplinary mobility research team of FGM-AMOR is carrying out research, consulting and implementation in the field of “soft mobility”. Given its participation in more than 100 EU projects, FGM-AMOR has unique access to pan-European research and development networks within the transport and mobility sector.
The activities in the field of cycle traffic include traffic socialization, traffic safety, target group oriented preparation of information and training, BYPAD quality management, sustainable logistics for the Last Mile, cycle training in real traffic as well as the conception of guidance systems. The projects are taking place on different levels including EU, federal, states, and municipalities. Current publications and papers include e.g. the EU project “Cyclelogistics Ahead”, cycling brochures commissioned by the transport ministry, as well as the project “ÖKO-LOG”.
