New App to reserve safe bicycle parking
Comfortable cycle parking was given a sounding name by CycleCompetence member Innovametall: SAFETYDOCK®. Because SAFETYDOCK® stands for theft-proof, sheltered (e-)bike parking, charging and rent. With the straightforward handling of SAFETYDOCK® a uniqe infrastructure offer was created which will soon be made even more user-friendly with a new smartphone app.
With the new app a third mode of control is introduced into the SAFETYDOCK® system. It is already possible to book a parkbox for the bicycle online or to safely park the bicycle using the RFID card at the terminal of the SAFETYDOCK® facility. With the app it will be possible to get comprehensive information and booking via smartphone.
