VELLO
The high-performance, handmade and light folding bike VELLO was designed in 2014 in Vienna especially for the city. Sophisticated innovations allow for maximum efficiency and comfort. With its 20 inch wheel the VELLO is very manoeuvrable. An innovative folding mechanism means it can be folded-up in seconds and then wheeled along which makes it easier to take it into lifts or onto public transport. A stable unisex chrome-molybdenum steel frame as well as specifically designed magnetic suspension are perfect for absorbing bumpy roads. Further innovations are the lights integrated into the frame, the folding mudguard, as well as a unique system for bicycle identification to make theft more difficult. As a contemporary reinterpretation of the folding bike, VELLO is delighting users with functionality as well as grace.
AWARDS & FUNDS
VELLO won the “Red Dot Best of the Best Award 2015” and started an overwhelmingly successfull Kickstarte Campaign for the worlds first recharching electric folding bike in 2016.
